ONE – CAREGIVERS AND NANNIES REQUIREMENTS
1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Absolute honesty and loyalty is required
Caring, Compassionate and Dependable, also Healthy and Drug Free
Smoking is not allowed in a client’s home or near the client premises
Do not depend upon the client for your meals. Please eat at mealtime and
avoid snacking throughout the day and evening
Friends and family are not to visit the home of your client. The place
to entertain your family and friends is your own home
Your personnel problems are not to be discussed with the clients. Favors
such as borrowing money or giving you a ride are not appropriate
Use of client’s telephone is not allowed unless absolutely necessary
and permission must always be obtained first. Do not give client’s
phone number to anyone
It is the client’s privilege to have their home at the temperature
they wish. You are a guest/employee in the client’s home. You
are not at liberty to set the thermostat for you comfort
When shopping for the client, only buy what the client has requested.
Anything you purchase for yourself you must pay for yourself. The client
is not to pay for your special likes regarding food. You are in the
home to service the client
Use of words or phrases that should be offensive to the client or the
client’s family should not be used. Swearing is always inappropriate
Good grooming, neat
and clean appearance on the job should be a matter of personal pride.
Good personal hygiene includes cleanliness of body, hair, teeth, nails
and clothing

2. GENERAL JOB SPECIFICS:
People Handling and Care and Animal Lover for 50% of the cases
Driving to school and child activities
Transportation to doctors or therapy sessions
Food Preparation and Administering Medication
Assistance with bathing and dressing
Physical activity help and medication reminders
Light housekeeping and laundry
IN SUMMARY,
WE NEED PEOPLE THAT ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO DO ANYTHING THAT NEED TO
BE DONE.
